Rev. Gene Smith, KB9WI, passed away on November 5, 2015. His signal was known on the WBCCI Amateur Radio Club’s RV Service Net.
Gene was born in Pontiac, Michigan, on Dec. 11, 1926. He was married 67 years to Wanda Wilson of Coshocton, Ohio.
Rev. Smith received his Bachelor’s degree from Asbury College and served as a minister in several United Methodist Churches in Indiana.
